Privacy Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
The Grand Gathering (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. It describes how the website actually works today.
Information you give us
- Inquiry details. When you use the Grand Menu Concierge, request a proposal or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), details of your event, menu preferences, budget expectations, and any message you write.
- Dietary, allergy, religious and accessibility information. If you choose to share these, we use them only to plan and discuss your event. Please share only what is needed, and avoid naming individual guests.
- Files you upload. Inspiration images or PDFs you upload are stored privately and are accessible only to our team and, once you have a client account, to you.
- Client account information. If you become a client, we create a secure portal account using your email address. The portal holds your event details, proposals, agreements, invoices, payment status and messages with us.
Information stored on your device
To save your progress, the Concierge and the mood board store your answers in your browser’s local storage on your own device. This is not sent to us until you submit a request, and you can clear it at any time with “Start over”, “Clear my mood board” or by clearing your browser data. If you sign in to the client portal, your sign-in session is also kept in local storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers on this website.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a consultation and proposal.
- To plan and deliver the services you engage us for.
- To send messages about your request or event, such as acknowledgements, proposals and receipts.
- To keep records required for running our business, and to protect the website against abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to operate this website, and they process information on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts the website and processes form submissions.
- Supabase provides our secure database, sign-in and private file storage.
- Stripe processes online payments when you choose to pay an invoice online. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure pages and are never stored on our systems.
- Resend delivers our transactional email.
- Unsplash serves the concept photographs displayed on the site; your browser requests these images from Unsplash directly.
We may also share information with venues or vendors when that is necessary to deliver an event you have booked, and where required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to any records we are required to keep. To make a request, contact us and we will respond.
Children
This website is intended for adults planning events and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new date.
